Patrieck Bonnet is a jazz saxophonist from The Hague, Netherlands, whose sound immediately stands out. His tone is warm, full of energy, playfulness and colour. His style is elegant, inventive, lyrical and rooted in the jazz tradition.

He has performed and recorded with orchestras and bands, including the Dutch Jazz Collective and Peter Beets & the New Jazz Orchestra. He has also shared the stage with leading artists such as John Clayton, Benjamin Herman and Ack van Rooyen. Over the years he has developed a distinct personal style as a soloist, arranger and composer. In 2021, he released his debut album Hommage. This album reflects Bonnet’s appreciation for his family’s musical heritage, while also showcasing his compositional style and refined compositions.

Recently Bonnet has working with guitarist Casper Christensen from Copenhagen on the release of a their album, Wildflower (Zennezrecords), which is released in March 2025.

Dispokinesis
Besides working as a music artist, Patrieck is passionate about helping fellow musicians through DispoKinesis. Since 2022 Patrieck is certified by the Gesellschaft Für Dispokinesis Nach G.O. van de Klashorst.

Dispokinesis is a posture and movement teaching specifically aimed at musicians, developed by G.O. van der Klashorst. Dispokinesis can be used both preventively, and for rehabilitation of playing injuries.

In 2019, Patrieck started working as a bandleader and formed his own group. This project became one of his most important musical statements, this project shows what Patrieck stands for musically.

A long-held desire of Patrieck was to get more in touch with his grandfather, composer Karel van Dijck (1927-1995).
So in August 2021, he released his debut album, “Homage,” with the Zennez label. “Homage” is an ode to the composer and his grandfather Karel van Dijck. Patrieck’s arranged three suites by Van Dijck and added two compositions of his own.

“Hommage” can be thought of as a “Coming of Age story” in which Van Dijck’s originally classical suites are performed with respect for the original, but later subtly transition into Jazz. Gradually while listening to Patrieck’s debut album, his own sound emerges. “Homage To One Who Has Flown Away” is a compelling story, with playful but also melancholic elements, that is carried out with attention and care.

Bonnet is supported by highly experienced musicians who ensure that everyone on stage sparkles and is free to express themselves in sound.
